Make a pottage for the same [disease]: [take]
breckland thyme,
brooklime. Boil in milk to a third part. [Take] the herbs from the milk. Shed
wheat meal thereon and eat that cold pottage and sup the milk. Soon he will be well. If the pottage and the drink remain in [him], you might heal that person. If it flees him, it is better that you not treat him. His life-ending disease is near.

xxv. Wiþ weartum: genim hundes micgean and muse blod. Meng tosomne. Smire þa weartan. Hi gewitaþ sona aweg.
xxv. For warts: take the urine of a dog and the blood of a mouse. Mix together. Smear the warts. Soon they will depart away.
